The Glycerin 4s have good support and great shock absorbency. These shoes are well cushioned with out being mushy. One of the best qualities of the Brooks line of shoes is they do not drop too low on heal strike which in my opinion can cause Achilles tendonitis. The ride is even and smooth.. I hope it will last me for awhile...

A great product. They are slightly less supportive than the Glycerin 3s and a little more flexible. The transition through toe off is good and they are not heavy at all. I think that the fit is wider than the previous model. The fit in the heal cup and arch is snug.
