Additionally, the GT-2100 is SpEVA® 55 lasted to enhance the cushioning properties of the shoe without sacrificing stability. ASICS® PHF® (Personalized Heel Fit) is memory foam placed in the heel collar, molding to the runner's foot. To increase the breathability, open-air mesh is used in the upper. Add a Moisture Management Sockliner, which helps keep the foot dry and free of blisters, and this might be ASICS best all-around training shoe ever.

Its one of the best shoe around, it isnt the industrial standard for nothing.....
I was a little disappointed in the softness of the bottom, and the lack of support in the mid section. Other then that, I would recommend the shoe to another fellow runner.
Oh what happy feet... Nothing beats the feel of good Asics shoes. The gel gives unparalleled comfort and spring to your step.
They change this series every year. If it’s not as good as the previous model, it’s never enough for me to say the shoe won’t work, except for now...The 2090 model had more cushioning than the 2080s which gave it pluses for a great "new Shoe" feel. The latest 2100 has much less cushioning, so much that when I tried them on, they feel like shoes that I’ve already worn for months. Maybe I’m spoiled by the 2090s having + cushioning, but even the older models(2080,70,etc) felt better when new. The 2080s series starting the trend with the wider tox box.
I’ve been running in this shoe for about 4 months. It has excellent cushioning and is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had !!!
