Right on schedule, Nike has updated its succesful Lunar Glide series. The Nike Lunar Glide 3 has a much more distingtive midfoot support strap for better support while retaining all the proven components (Cushy Lunarlon foam, Dynamic Support...) from its predeceesors. Phylon™ Strobel Last : The upper is attached to a thin material that is patterned on the shape or silhouette of the midsole. Traditional strobel lasts use a thin cloth material, while Nike uses Phylon for a more cushioned feel : Phylon : Originally used in dolls, it is a heated and compressed EVA foam cushioning compound that is light, resilient and capable of giving a soft, smooth ride.
