Mizuno Wave Elixir

Utilizing two distinctly different materials, Mizuno introduce a whole new stability shoe which provides an excellent bland of its unique cushioning , support and smooth ride. The laternal side of the shoe is made of rubber for excellent cushioning at heel strike while the medial side wave is made of pebax for support.

Felt great from first moment that I strapped them on. They aren't too narrow in front like some running shoes. If you have a high arch, you may need to add a little arch support...

This shoe is replacing the maverick and thus basically a maverick 5, with with mizuno's "smoothride" with AP midsole material. It feels a whole lot like previous maverick, maybe slightly lighter.

have recently begun running in the Elixer and they are very smooth. The cushioning is good, but not over done and the fit is nice.
